Responsibilities
- Support statutory reporting and compliance with local accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions
- Drive the monthly and quarterly close and prepare financial reporting for assigned entities
- Process invoices through the accounts payable workflow and oversee vendor compliance for multiple entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Support compliance with annual statutory reporting, indirect tax filings, and other reporting
- Coordinate information flow and documentation for statutory and other audits
- Identify, propose, and help implement opportunities to automate workflows and improve the efficiency of accounting processes
Requirements
- KoBold builds AI models for mineral exploration and deploys those models—alongside our novel sensors—to guide decisions on KoBold-owned-and-operated exploration programs.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 3 years experience in accounting •
- Experience working with international operations •
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technology as needed and solve new problems continuously
- Interest in learning about mineral exploration and partnering closely with exploration project teams
- High degree of independence and ability to work effectively with limited supervision
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction accounting in the exploration or mining industry •
- Experience implementing new systems

- The US base salary range for this full-time exempt position is $90,000-$110,000
