Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver product design support and solutions targeted at business growth and operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost in the manufacture of window and door products.
- Create positive momentum on teams and deliver results (projects, tasks, people development).
- Establish and nurture an environment conducive to high levels of morale, employee satisfaction, and performance.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of inputs in situations where limited standardization and data exists.
- Execute product design projects fulfilling both project leader and product design roles.
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS: BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent mechanical engineering experience 5-7 years of experience in R&D design experience
- Experience in and passion for leading and developing a high-performance team Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in project management methodologies with demonstrated ability to drive product development projects to completion Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity Knowledge of Product Development Process (PDP), design specification and documentation methods Expected travel of <20% PAY RANGE: $101,176.00 - $156,824.00 CULTURE AND
