Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and architecture conversations with prospects and customers, translating ambiguous
- Support customer migrations and implementations, including source code management (SCM) migration, cloud architecture design, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) consulting services.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Delivery Managers on staffing assessments, partner consultant technical vetting, and evaluation of new hire candidates for technical fit.
- Mentor Professional Services and partner consultants by modeling best practice communication, consulting behaviors, and implementation strategies, and by providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Create and deliver enablement sessions for Professional Services and other teams on how to position, scope, and deliver specific service offerings to customers.

- You will play a critical role in helping customers plan and execute source code management (SCM) migrations, modernize their cloud and DevOps architectures, and adopt GitLab as their DevSecOps platform of choice.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead complex technical conversations with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- experience delivering two or more of the following consulting services: source code management (SCM) migration, cloud architecture, software development, or continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) consulting services.
- experience and hands-on work with modern DevOps platforms and practices.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology stacks, industry trends, and best practices, and to apply them in customer environments. •
- Experience identifying, understanding, and clearly explaining complexities, tradeoffs, and potential challenges during initial scoping and discovery sessions with prospects and customers.
- experience guiding consultants or technical team members on best practice communication, implementation strategies, and service delivery.
- Strong technical foundation in information technology, computer science, or related technical domains, demonstrated through hands-on experience, self-directed learning, or formal education.
