Engineer II, III, or Senior Engineer – Power Innovation & Project

Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual designs, basis-of-design documents, project schedules, execution strategies, and capital cost estimates.
  • Perform technical and economic evaluations to support project screening, technology selection, and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with commercial, business development, operations, environmental, regulatory, and construction teams.
  • Support development of innovative energy solutions for industrial, data center, and infrastructure applications.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, permitting, environmental, regulatory, constructability, and schedule risks.
  • Ensure projects are developed with consideration for safety, reliability, operability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.

Requirements

  • What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Engineering Technology degree with PE license accepted).
  • Experience in power generation, energy storage, utility infrastructure, industrial facilities, or other large capital projects.
  • Knowledge of engineering design, project development, cost estimating, and project execution.
  • Qualifications FE or PE certification.
  • Experience developing conceptual engineering packages, cost estimates, schedules, and business cases.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.

Experience

  • Experience by Level Engineer II: 2+ years of relevant
  • experience Senior Engineer: 8+ years of progressive experience, including leadership of complex projects Preferred
