- QUALIFICATIONS - IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification (Required) - Strong working knowledge of composite materials and composite repair inspection methods - Working knowledge of welding processes and weld inspection fundamentals -
- Experience performing technical inspections in field, manufacturing, or service environments - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions - Strong documentation and reporting skills with exceptional attention to detail - Ability to work closely with Quality Engineers and technical teams PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Occasional standing and walking within the office - Manual dexterity to operate

- JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Field Service Inspector to support Quality Engineers (QEs) by delivering the most accurate, reliable, and highly detailed inspection data from field operations.
- This role serves as the eyes and ears of the Quality organization in the field, ensuring that repairs, installations, and service activities meet internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering specifications.
- The Field Service Inspector will conduct in-depth inspections, document findings with extreme attention to detail, and provide actionable feedback to Quality Engineering and internal teams.
- This role requires frequent travel and close collaboration with engineering, production, and field service teams to ensure product integrity and continuous improvement.
- RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform detailed inspections of field service work, repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- - Collect precise and reliable inspection data to support Quality Engineers in evaluating product performance and service outcomes.
- - Identify defects, non-conformances, and process deviations with a high level of accuracy and documentation.
- - Capture detailed records including measurements, photos, and technical observations to ensure full traceability.
- - Act as a direct support function to Quality Engineers by providing dependable field data for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
