Responsibilities
- Lead / facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.
- Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools : Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.
- Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.
- Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.
- Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.
- Train and support members of the MIT Engineering team as needed on standard practices , tools, or engineering methodologies as required .
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS: 4 year degree in Engineering or Technology Minimum 5 years of engineering
- experience P roject management skills K nowledge of Lean manufacturing principles K nowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability Positive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customers Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred ( AutoCad /Inventor) Ability to travel up to 25% PAY RANGE: $101,176.00 - $156,824.00 CULTURE AND
