Responsibilities
- Ensure that work order protocols are followed and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment in either electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Desired Skills
- Vocational training in electronics or possession of a solder certification
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with safety and ESD practices
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to frequently use hand tools (e.g., clamps) using light, minimal force
- Regularly required to sit for long periods and occasionally stand for short periods
- Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and balance
- Occasionally required to walk
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
