Requirements

A high level of importance is placed on quality, timeliness, customer service, effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
You maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through regular continuing education.
What You Will Need to Succeed: You are a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
Pathology Board Certified - American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Pathology (ECVP/ECVCP) preferred.
You are fluent in English You are familiar with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
Computer skills are required.
Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory is preferred.

As an Anatomic or C linical Pathologist the majority of your duties involve, but are not limited to, providing clients with diagnostic evaluation in the area of anatomic or clinical pathology and providing necessary follow-up consultation.
In This Role: You are responsible for gross and/or microscopic examination of clinical and anatomic pathology specimens and preparation of pathology reports in a timely manner.
You will meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
You are responsible for providing telephone and email consultations to clients.
You consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality.
You will partner with, advise and assist laboratory personnel in proper specimen processing techniques and function as the pathologist on duty.
You promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating in pathologist meetings and developing and maintaining professional relationships/contact with clients.
responsibilities to allow the pathologist to engage in other professional activities as approved by management. Such activities should improve the function or professional reputation of IDEXX.
