Requirements

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certifications in a manufacturing field are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: A "can-do" attitude, strong math skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority tasks independently.

- experience Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime/Off-shift as required) POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring maximum operational efficiency of production equipment and facility infrastructure.
- This role focuses on the planning, organization, and execution of the preventative maintenance (PM) program for industrial machinery, including roll formers, power folders, slitters, and forklifts.
- As part of the Cornerstone Building Brands team, the technician ensures a safe, high-performing environment while utilizing digital tools to track and optimize maintenance workflows. CORE
- RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for optimal performance.
- Electrical Systems: Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems up to 480v , including motors, wiring, and control circuits.
- Safety Leadership: Adhere to and champion all safety processes, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70E).
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute the branch PM program for all production and warehouse equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Digital Integration (CMMS): Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track asset history, and manage parts inventory.
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain building structures and grounds, including minor construction projects and safety inspections.
- Communication: Provide timely updates to branch management and corporate maintenance teams regarding equipment status and vendor coordination.
