Requirements

Headquartered in Roanoke, Va., you will find a robust system of award winning hospitals, Level 1 and 3 trauma centers, Level 3 NICU, Institute of Orthopedics and Neurosciences, multi-specialty physician practices, and The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute.
Performs one modality of Neurodiagnostic as well as staying current with EEG technologies.
Work involves application of basic respiratory knowledge and advanced skills to provide patient care.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and assesses data reflective of the patient's status.
requirements relative to his or her age specific needs and provides care according to departmental policies and procedures. What We Require: Education: High School diploma for grandfathered Techs.
Associate's degree or Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
Experience: none Licensure: Must be eligible to obtain registry within 4 years of hire date for grandfathered employees or within 2-3 years for employees with an associate degree or higher.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP & PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Other Minimum
Aptitude for detailed record keeping.

Recognizes and takes appropriate action to respond to evolving patient care needs.
The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those stated in this description. Compensation Range: $23.23 - $32.52 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
