Conformity Technician

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspection activities, including travel to various sites.
  • Evaluate equipment and systems for compliance with industry standards such as UL, IEEE, NEC, etc.
  • Research and Report Writing
  • Perform research on technical standards and regulations.
  • Write detailed reports on inspection findings and compliance assessments.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the conformity evaluation process.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and other documentation. Sales Support

Requirements

  • The Conformity Technician must be proficient in technical skills related to electrical work, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of working safely around electrical and mechanical hazards. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
  • responsibilities and tasks as required to support the organization's goals and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Must have a satisfactory background/MVR check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and/or random drug test.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Acrobat.
  • Trade or technical school certificate/diploma in Electrical. 1+ years of
  • experience in a related field (Industrial Equipment, Industrial Design, Power Distribution Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Control Panels etc).
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with industry standards. Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work safely around electrical and mechanical hazards.
