Senior Systems Engineer - Sensor Selection

Responsibilities

  • Own systems integration and validation activities to ensure the platform performs as designed, complementing unit-level testing performed within the team
  • Define and develop metrics to verify that the system and its subsystems satisfy feature and system requirements

  • Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, May develops and deploys autonomous vehicles (AVs) powered by our innovative Multi-Policy Decision Making (MPDM) technology that literally reimagines the way AVs think.
  • Leverage a system level understanding of our products and technologies to support cross-functional engineering efforts
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Understanding of agile startup and engineering principles and mindset
  • Ability to display systems thinking and attention to detail
  • Detailed knowledge of
  • Demonstrated ability to lead system integration and validation across hardware and software domains
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Working knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture and in-vehicle networking
  • Strong working knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Vehicle systems Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university 5+ years
  • experience in automotive engineering working on software, hardware, or combined hardware/software products Desirable
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience •
  • Experience supporting OEM platform programs or working directly with OEM partners
  • Knowledge of automotive and autonomous vehicle technologies, such as LIDAR, radar, ethernet, and CAN • Experience with
  • Experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Machine Learning, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), or Mobile Applications •
