Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory operations, ensuring customer-focused service, effective cost control, and compliance with NATA and Australian Standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, sampling, testing, and inspection processes.
- Champion innovation by researching and developing new recycled products and cost-effective raw material substitutes.
- Promote and enforce a strong health, safety, and environmental culture aligned with company policies and legislative requirements.
- Oversee risk management, reporting, and ensure adherence to WH&S and environmental standards.
- Lead a team that’s shaping the future of recycled materials in Australia.
- Lead all technical aspects of recycling operations to ensure the quality and consistency of aggregate products.
Requirements
- experience in a technical support role within aggregate laboratory operations.
- Degree in Civil or Materials Engineering (or equivalent).
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of laboratory operations, construction materials compliance testing, and recycled product specifications Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage teams effectively.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of proven management experience.
