Requirements
- In order to use quantum computer hardware, we need a server to manage communications between users and the quantum computer.
- IQM has a state-of-the-art QPU (quantum processing unit), and we need Software Infrastructure engineers to ensure our software meets our customers' requirements.
- experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices, and a willingness to share and learn.
- experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab CI). •
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems •
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Python and Bash •
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, is a plus. •
- Proficient knowledge of container building and orchestration tools such as Docker and Docker Compose. Kubernetes knowledge is a plus, but not a technology we utilize in this role •
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. •
- Understanding of release management principles •
- Knowledge of and interest in software security and controls.
- experience in the field or familiarity with quantum computer infrastructure.
- experience working as a Software Infrastructure engineer or DevOps.
