Requirements

What We Require: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Nurse Practitioners must also hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required as appropriate to the position. Other Minimum
requirements of Carilion Clinic, the Virginia Board of Medicine or Nursing, and applicable certifying bodies. Must meet practice and managed care credentialing
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer systems required.

Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Compensation Range: $107,993.60 - $172,785.60 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
