Requirements
- A high level of importance is placed on quality, timeliness, customer service, and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills .
- You maintain proficiency and develop diagnostic skills through regular continuing education .
- What You Will Need to Succeed: Board certification in clinical pathology - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) preferred.
- You are fluent in English You are familiar with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine .
- Computer skills are required.
- Experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory is preferred.

- As a Clinical Pathologist , the majority of your duties involve but are not limited to, providing clients with diagnostic evaluation in the area of clinical pathology and providing necessary follow-up consultation.
- This role is hybrid, working 1 or 2 days onsite in our Wetherby, UK laboratory.

- In This Role: You are responsible for gross and/or microscopic examination of clinical pathology specimens and preparation of pathology reports in a timely manner.
- You will meet caseload and turnaround expectations.
- You are responsible for providing telephone consultations to clients.
- You consult with and assist other pathologists as needed to promote collegiality.
- You will partner with, advise, and assist laboratory personnel in proper specimen processing techniques and function as the pathologist on duty.
- You promote the growth of IDEXX by actively participating in pathologist meetings and developing and maintaining professional relationships/contact with clients.
