Responsibilities
- Description Support Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices, including attending maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, demos, and assisting during SFTs / PVCs, as well as performing snag clearance.
- Ensure PMTs are executed according to standards, properly signed off, and that any deficiencies raised are actioned, followed up, and closed in a timely manner.
- Run recurrent QTGs and perform low‑level troubleshooting using schematics and aircraft/device system documentation.
- Plan, supervise, and produce reports for routine technical tasks.
- Create, improve, and update procedures and guidelines for routine technical tasks.
- Maintain associated records in an up‑to‑date and accessible manner.
- Maintain, track, and request consumables and tools required for Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Daily Readiness.
- Support logistics duties including yearly inventories, store re‑arrangement, packing, and preparation for shipping.
- Perform housekeeping, administrative duties, and additional tasks in support of the technical services group as reasonably required.
Requirements
- Qualifications Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation field.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Daily Readiness on simulation training devices.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documents related to simulation training devices.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of computer networking.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules and shift patterns.
- Suitable understanding of aircraft terminology and simulation training devices.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of related work experience.

- Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on training devices and associated systems.
- Use the Maintenance Management System to record, track, and review all maintenance activities.
- Provide On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) to Simulator Technicians I and Simulator Technical Assistants.
- Comply with local and global CAE Environmental Health & Safety standards, instructions, and safe working procedures.
- Exercise duty of care for personal safety and the safety of others who may be affected by work activities. Minimum
- Adequate troubleshooting skills across electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Capability to use test equipment efficiently and safely.
