  • responsibilities include: Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with regulatory standards, CAE curriculum, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • As a CJ3 Instructor Pilot at CAE, you will play a key role in developing confident, highly skilled pilots through world‑class simulator and ground school instruction.
  • Complete required administrative tasks, including training records, remedial training recommendations, and monitoring instructor qualifications.
  • Qualifications: High School diploma or state‑issued equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred). 3,000+ hours of total flight time. 2–5 years of job‑relevant experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet‑based programs.
  • Ability to participate in CAE’s DOT Anti‑Drug & Alcohol testing program.
  • Hold an unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written) Strong listening and presentation skills Preferred

Additional details

  • You will lead clients through training using CAE‑approved curriculum, ensuring adherence to regulatory
  • requirements and maintaining exceptional customer service. Key
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) guiding clients through all phases of their training.
  • Provide simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
  • After approximately 1.5+ years, and based on business needs, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.
  • Participate in training programs that may include international travel and extended stays.
  • Uphold a professional, welcoming learning environment and tailor training to diverse customers.
  • Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
  • Qualifications: Existing instructor qualification or type rating.
