Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.
• Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.
• Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.
• Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.
• Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.
• Lead and/or support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new fabrication equipment and processes.

Requirements

• QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS MUST HAVE
• experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision-making.
• Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners, customers, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and alignment. Knowledge and
• experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools. 2D & 3D CAD
• QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of DMAIC analyses and problem-solving approaches
• Experience with change management strategies
