Responsibilities
- - Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that directly contribute to meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product, customer success, and finance teams to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
- - Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- - Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies, campaigns, and messaging.
- - Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and recommend strategic improvements.
- - Oversee budget management for the sales team, including tools, training, and incentives.
- - Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of high-performing inside sales representatives, with a focus on scalability and long-term success.
Requirements
- We’re training and deploying frontier models for developers and enterprises who are building AI systems to power magical experiences like content generation, semantic search, RAG, and agents.

- You will be responsible for ensuring the team is equipped to sell Cohere’s cutting-edge AI solutions effectively while exceeding revenue targets and contributing to the company’s long-term success. In this role,
- - Provide Technical Enablement: Ensure the team has the knowledge and resources to effectively sell Cohere’s AI platform, including its capabilities in natural language processing, generative AI, and agentic AI.
- - Revenue Focus: Demonstrated ability to drive significant revenue growth and exceed sales targets in a competitive, high-growth environment.
- - Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and the ability to learn and communicate Cohere’s platform effectively.
- Experience optimizing sales processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. - Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling way. - CRM Proficiency: Advanced
- experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot. Preferred Qualifications: -
- Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment with a track record of scaling sales teams from the ground up. - Familiarity with Cohere’s AI platform or similar technologies. - Knowledge of sales enablement tools, methodologies, and best practices. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. -
- Experience managing budgets and driving cost-effective sales operations.
