Develop material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.
Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.
Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects.
Design and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives.
Build reciprocal working relationships with people from across the organization and suppliers.
Develop new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain.
Identifies unexpressed customer needs or customer problems and can identify potential solutions.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. 5-10 years of
experience preferred Has considerable versatility in applying specialized technical knowledge in a wide variety of situations. In-depth knowledge and
experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping.
Experience with change management strategies.
