Responsibilities

Analyze chain of title and review preparation of Title Reports
Ensure completeness of each title search and the correct order of documents attached
Review all legal documents, including deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages, liens, judgments, settlement agreements, probate proceedings, easements, right-of-ways, and plats/maps
Ensure all legal documents and court proceedings are summarized correctly and succinctly
Analyze restrictions and adverse items, and ensure proper annotations, defining their effect and possible hindrance of property sale or usage
Handle all aspects of the title search via online county information, title plant information and local abstractor work

You must have the ability to plot legal descriptions for accuracy and completeness What You Bring 3+ year of
experience in commercial title searches
Understanding of terminology and documents related to title search, title chain, and property ownership
Ability to work independently, following set quality standards
Ability to multitask and review multiple orders simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and other Office tools
Knowledge and proficiency with platting software, such as NetDeedPlotter and Metes&Bounds, are preferred, but not required
Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment Who We Are As An Employer

Our compensation for this position is flexible based on experience.
Salary Range: $50k-70k based on the experience
