Requirements

  • Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Must be licensed pharmacist in California
  • Candidate must meet one of the following [REQUIREMENTS] qualifications:
  • Completion of a PGY2 Oncology Residency
  • experience as a clinical oncology pharmacist
  • experience as a clinical pharmacist in oncology, including 1 year practicing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA)

Benefits

  • Salary: An employee in this position who performs the job duties in California can expect a salary rate between $145,000 and $180,000 (Hourly Equivalent: Approximately $69.71 - $86.53 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek.) plus bonus pursuant to the terms of an any bonus plan if applicable.
  • The actual salary will depend on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. What You’ll Get:

  • We’re hiring an Ambulatory Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist who will play a hands-on role in elevating patient care at a nationally recognized Academic Medical Center.
  • In this dynamic, patient‑centered position, you’ll build meaningful relationships with patients and providers while delivering high‑quality medication management.
  • You’ll work on‑site in clinic, collaborating directly with care teams and practicing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA) to conduct virtual patient assessments, order and monitor evidence-based treatment plans, optimize therapy, and resolve medication-related problems.

  • Provide comprehensive medication management, including reconciliation, dose optimization, adherence support, and drug‑level assessments aligned with evidence‑based standards.
  • Partner with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to order individualized care plans under a CPA and promote seamless medication coordination.
  • Provide recommendations to operations by supporting teammates as needed with complex prior authorizations, improving workflows, educating patients, and maintaining ongoing clinical development. What You Need:
