Responsibilities
- Prepare and process revenue accounting journals and financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform reconciliations for accrued revenue, deferred revenue, contract liability and related balance sheet accounts, driving timely clearance of aged or complex reconciling items.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including cut-off reviews and period-end adjustments.
- Maintain accurate revenue accounting records, contract schedules and supporting documentation.
- Investigate routine revenue accounting issues and escalate complex matters where appropriate.
- Support the Global Revenue Controller in the delivery of revenue accounting, governance and financial control objectives, and share knowledge and good practice with peers.
- Support audit activities by providing documentation and responding to information requests.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and governance requirements. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality and revenue accounting processes. What you'll bring
- Investigate reconciliation differences, revenue recognition issues and data quality exceptions.
- Resolve routine accounting issues independently while escalating complex matters appropriately.

- Build effective relationships with Finance, Commercial teams and other internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent required. 4 – 6 years'
- experience in revenue accounting within a global Shared Services Centre (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment. •
- Experience supporting revenue recognition, reconciliations, journal processing and month-end close. Technical & Operational Expertise
- Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15 or equivalent). •
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or similar accounting platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables and reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet period-end deadlines.

- Reporting to the Global Revenue Controller, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting activities within our Global Finance Services (GFS) shared services organisation, acting as a subject matter expert across complex revenue recognition, accrued and deferred revenue positions and period-end close.
- You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards, maintaining the integrity of revenue-related balance sheet accounts and supporting high-quality financial reporting.
- Working closely with GFS RTR and OTC teams, you will perform core revenue accounting activities, support period-end close, investigate accounting issues and contribute to the effective delivery of the end-to-end Order to Cash process.
- Here's what you'll be doing Revenue Accounting & Financial Close
- Apply revenue recognition policies to assigned contracts in accordance with IFRS 15 or applicable standards.
- Reconcile revenue ledger postings to billing system data and investigate variances.
- Assist with preparation of revenue reporting schedules and supporting information.
- Partner with GFS RTR, OTC and Group Finance teams to resolve revenue accounting issues.
