Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical (HVAC) engineering delivery across the full project lifecycle
Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, cost-efficient, and aligned with site realities Estimating & Pre-Construction
Support estimating during tender stages by reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope
Validate engineering assumptions used in pricing and proposals Design Review & Shop Drawings
Prepare and review HVAC layouts, calculations, and system selections
Review consultant designs and identify constructability risks, gaps, and clashes
Prepare and/or review mechanical shop drawings suitable for construction Submittals & Procurement Support
Prepare complete technical submittal packages for consultant/client approval prior to procurement
Ensure submittals meet specifications and contract requirements
Prepare detailed shop-drawing-based Bills of Materials, including all materials required for execution
Ensure quantities are accurate, coordinated, and procurement-ready Quality Control & Site Support
Review site feedback, inspection reports, and photos
Resolve technical issues, non-conformances, and installation deviations As-Built & Handover
Review and validate as-built drawings and final engineering documentation
Support smooth project close-out and handover from an engineering standpoint JOB

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience in HVAC / Building Mechanical Systems Proven
