Responsibilities

Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and/or services.
Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers.
Ensure supplier compliance via an internet supplier portal (eXpo PO tracking) and responsible for item part data attribute accuracy.
Sustain success metrics (Delivery, Cost, Lead Time, Inventory, etc), incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements Ability to Obtain a US Security

Candidate will be a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of procurement and in-depth knowledge of project management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Experience with Kaizen events, industrial capability and capacity assessments
Experience in Government and Commercial Contracting/Subcontracting managing supplier performance in the areas of technical scope, schedule, and cost. Engineering or Technical Background
Experience engaging with suppliers and analyzing suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
MRP Experience, Agile configuration Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Cost analysis and negotiation experience
Experience and understanding of product specifications, statements of work (SOW), and terms and conditions Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, macros, etc. Global sourcing
