Responsibilities
- Hazard and Risk Management: Oversee hazard identification and risk assessments across site functions, prioritizing controls by hierarchy and partnering to manage traffic, plant, equipment, chemicals, contractors, maintenance, 6S and emergency scenarios.
- Run audits / inspections and report leading and lagging indicators with clear escalations.

Requirements
- Experience Required: Relevant Health and Safety, safety, engineering, ergonomics, occupational health or related qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- experience in manufacturing, warehouse, medical device, pharmaceutical, FMCG or comparable operations.
- Degree in relevant field Registered DOSH Green Book holder and be registered safety officer for the site.
- Working knowledge of DOSH, BOMBA, DOE requirements, Codes of Practice, notifiable incidents and consultation Proven capability in risk assessment, inspections, audits, incident investigation, corrective action management and control verification.
- Practical understanding of hazardous manual tasks, ergonomics, traffic / warehouse risk, contractor control, emergency preparedness and plant safety.

- Responsibilities Health and Safety Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA regulations, liaise with regulatory authorities for license, maintain statutory documentation and reporting, monitor regulatory updates and support leadership in due diligence.
- Safety Discipline and Culture: Lead deployment of safety rules and routines, coaching leaders on key safety practices, promoting a safety-first culture, and encouraging early reporting of hazards and discomfort.
- Embed the safety rules, standard work, rotation discipline and leader accountability through tier meetings, shift starts and finish, Gemba, audits and incident reviews.
- Ergonomics and Manual Tasks: Lead ergonomic risk mapping and hazardous manual task controls, collaborating to redesign tasks and using early pain / discomfort /soreness reports as leading indicators for intervention to prevent injuries.
- Partner with Engineering and Production on task, tool, fixture, workstation and layout improvements.
- Incident and Corrective Action Management: Govern incident reporting and investigations ensuring immediate containment, investigation quality, root cause analysis, corrective actions ownership, effectiveness checks effectiveness checks for LTIs, MTIs, first aid cases, near hits, hazards and discomfort trends, and escalation of ineffective controls.
