- Requirements: Proven ability to negotiate agreements (RUAs, ROEs, railroad crossing agreements) that balance risk, cost, and stakeholder expectations Strong working knowledge of roadway construction methods and restoration standards (pavement, drainage, geotechnical, guiderail, temporary works)

- As an Engineer-Power Innovation, you will manage end-to-end roadway permitting and access approvals for fast-paced power innovation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and railroad requirements.
- You will develop permitting and access strategies; coordinate across engineering, environmental, construction management, legal, and external consultants; negotiate Road Use Management Agreements (RUMAs), Rights of Entry (ROEs), and Railroad Crossing Agreements; and track permit conditions through construction closeout and roadway restoration.
- You will serve as a technical advisor on traffic engineering, maintenance of traffic (MOT), haul routes, roadway and bridge restrictions, and railroad engineering standards, supporting safe execution, stakeholder alignment, and cost‑effective restoration outcomes.
- In senior roles, you will lead strategy, provide technical leadership, and manage complex negotiations, while in mid-level roles, you will execute drafting, submittals, tracking, field coordination, and compliance follow‑through.
