Requirements
- Responsibilities - Collaborate with the team in the design of Hall Effect Thruster components and systems including mechanical, thermal, and magnetic components. - Perform magnetic simulations with FEMM or similar tools. - Perform thermal simulations with Solidworks or Thermal Desktop. - Perform CFD simulations with Autodesk CFD or similar tools. - Develop CAD models of components in Solidworks or similar. - Assist in the design of valves and plumbing. - Perform flow analysis simulations. Basic
- Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.. - 5+ years of direct
- experience with electric propulsion systems. - Hands on
- experience building and developing hardware prototypes - Must have good communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Job Location Chantilly, VA
