Implement material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.
Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.
Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on small to medium scale projects.
Create and document basic information flow systems containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives.
Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including engineers, IT, suppliers, supervisors, leads, etc. Communicate assigned tasks and project status to project team and direct supervisor using status reports, meeting minutes, and formal updates.
Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve material and information flow processes.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES: Seeks to understand customers needs in detail and how to satisfy them using a strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of
experience preferred. Ability to effectively apply acquired knowledge and skills to a variety of assignments within a moderate range of technical difficulty. Working knowledge and
experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, Kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping.
experience in building and maintaining relationships. Communicates effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation techniques.
Experience with change management strategies.
