Requirements
- Responsible for coordinating recruitment, training, staff development, and scheduling for CRC/Ns within research unit (Surgery, Orthopedics, Emergency Department, OB/GYN, and R&D).. What We Require: Education: Bachelors degree or 4 years of related
- experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- experience in a clinical trial and research.
- Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Certification as a Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC).
- If not certified, research certification will be required within 1 year of hire.
- Advanced knowledge of human subjects research regulations.

- Employment Status: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Facility: 101 Elm Ave - Roanoke Requisition Number: R160649 CLINICAL RESEARCH MANAGER (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: The Manager, Clinical Research leads clinical research operations, manages research staff and performance, oversees trial metrics and workflows, and supports study start-up and resource planning. The Manager, Clinical Research Manages a team of Clinical Research Coordinators and Nurses.
- Monitors clinical trial metrics, team performance, and trial operations for direct reports.
- Supports Clinical Trials Director with CRC/N workload planning and resource management.
- Responsible for day-to-day and annual performance management.
- Responsible for coordinating recruitment, training, staff development, and scheduling for CRC/Ns within research unit (Medicine, Psychiatry, Pediatrics).
- Tracks and monitors trial metrics for active studies such as screening, enrollment, and screen failures.
- Proactively identifies obstacles to enrollment and works with study team to resolve study issues.
- Compiles invoiceable activity for trials within research unit in collaboration with study team.
- Assists Clinical Trial Financial Specialist and Clinical Trials Director with trial budget monitoring.
- Assists Clinical Trials Director with workload planning and staff resource management.
