- Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment Ability to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semifinished parts Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment Performs routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of
