Requirements

- A 2-, 3- or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred.
- It is not required to work in our lab, but if you were a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT), this

- What you can expect from us: Hourly rates targeting: $23.50/hr Schedule: This is a per diem/casual/prn position, scheduling will be done on an as-needed basis, the ideal candidate would be available for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

- What you’ll be doing as a Laboratory Technician: You will use automated analyzers, microscopes and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries and diseases in support of veterinarian animal treatment.
- You will perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands, every day.
- You will set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- experience and education would be a plus. Ideally, you will have
- experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment (microscopes, pipetting and / or clinical diagnostic analyzers).
