Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of Preliminary Risk Assessments and Intrusive Ground Investigations, including soil and rock logging, sampling and in-situ testing.Interpret and report on geoenvironmental data, undertaking human health and groundwater risk assessments using industry-standard tools such as LCRM, ConSim, RBCA, SNIFFER, BP RISC and the EA Remedial Targets methodology.Provide clear, commercially focused advice on contaminated land and planning matters, tailored to client and

experience preparing contaminated land assessment reports in line with current guidance.Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and the UK planning regime.Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.Full UK driving licence (UK travel required)Desirable:Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.Experience in geotechnical design (earthworks, foundations, retaining structures, slope stability).Salary &

Igne is seeking a Principal Geo-environmental Engineer to join our expanding Geotechnical Environmental Engineering team based in Walsall.
