The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, the integrity of internal controls, and compliance with government accounting requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS).

In this individual contributor role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for tasks including general ledger accounting, payroll accounting, SOX compliance, supporting SEC reporting and government accounting compliance, as well as driving process improvements in a fast paced, highly regulated environment.

This role requires solid technical accounting knowledge and excellent organizational skills. Position

Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities Support payroll accounting, including journal entries and related reconciliations Supports preparation of monthly financial package and reviews for accuracy Actively participates in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process Supports internal and external auditors' requests and inquiries Performs ad- hoc analysis as needed using various reports and statements
