Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance by administering HR policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Social Performance / Risk Management activities Assist in Union labor relations efforts Lead the Apprenticeship Program, fostering growth and professional development for emerging talent.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, managing and executing impactful DEI initiatives that support a culture of belonging.
- Oversee Training and Development programs, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives.
- Manage HR systems and transactions, ensuring data integrity and efficient HR processes.
- Oversee HR compliance activities, including internal and external audits.
- Model Alcoa’s safety values and champion a safety‑first culture.
- Support compliance with all safety procedures, standards, and safe‑work practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when addressing safety‑related employee issues.
- Demonstrated track record within an area of HR (Compliance, leave and/or policy administration, Labor/Employee relations, L&D, etc.)
Requirements

- Standard business schedule with occasional flexibility required to support operational priorities.
- What you can bring to the role: Associate degree or equivalent job-related experience, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or comparable operational environment.
- Working knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR compliance, preferred but not required.
- Advanced analytical and Microsoft Excel skills, with ability to interpret HR metrics and develop data-based recommendations.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) with the ability to influence and partner across all levels.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
