Responsibilities
- Design fault tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment
- Simulate and model the GTO and GEO radiation environments
- Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components
- Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team
- Support other electrical design, bringup, and test activities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field
- Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD) •
- Experience with designing for and testing for radiation effects •
- Experience in testing analog and digital circuits •
- Experience with high reliability systems
- Experience running tests at radiation labs •
- Experience with designing dosimeter circuits ECAD + MCAD
