Senior Radiation Effects Engineer

Responsibilities

Design fault tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment
Simulate and model the GTO and GEO radiation environments
Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components
Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team
Support other electrical design, bringup, and test activities

Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field
Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD) •
Experience with designing for and testing for radiation effects •
Experience in testing analog and digital circuits •
Experience with high reliability systems
Experience running tests at radiation labs •
Experience with designing dosimeter circuits ECAD + MCAD

The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
Base Salary $160,000 — $235,000 USD U.S.

As our Senior Radiation Effects Engineer you will be responsible for characterization of radiation environments for our missions and testing analysis for our spacecraft.¬† This position requires hands-on
experience validating parts for radiation environments specific to aerospace. Role
