- This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our network systems, and will serve as a technical expert and mentor within the engineering team.
- Network Optimization: Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to ensure high availability and low latency across all network segments.
- Security & Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network security policies, implement firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Serve as Tier IV escalation for complex network issues, providing expert-level diagnostics and resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with network hardware and service providers.
