Responsibilities
- Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, technical guides, and architecture diagrams for all IT infrastructure components.
- Establish and enforce documentation standards, templates, and version control practices across the IT team.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document lifecycle processes including creation, approval, revision, and archival.
- Document change management activities, including system upgrades, patching schedules, and infrastructure modifications.
- Support incident management processes by maintaining accurate records of incidents, root cause analyses (RCA), and resolution steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to capture and translate technical knowledge into clear, structured documentation.
- Process & Compliance Ensure IT documentation aligns with ITIL frameworks, ISO 27001, or other relevant standards adopted by the organization.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and presenting accurate, up-to-date documentation packages.
- Identify documentation gaps and proactively develop materials to address operational and compliance risks.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on documentation coverage and status for IT management review.
Requirements
- Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are advantageous.
- experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related role. Demonstrated
- experience in producing technical documentation, SOPs, or knowledge base articles in a corporate IT environment.
- Technical Skills Strong proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with documentation and knowledge management tools Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud services.
- Familiarity with diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or Lucidchart.
- Working knowledge of ITSM processes including change management, incident management, and asset management.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automating documentation tasks is a plus.
- Soft Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
