Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of clinical studies and treatment protocols that integrate Natera’s
- Recruit and engage leading principal investigators (PIs) and clinical sites in GU oncology to participate
- Advise on product development for the GU oncology portfolio, identifying clinical unmet needs, new
- Lead medical education initiatives, including external training, launch planning, and the creation of
- Identify and recruit Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in GU oncology to serve on advisory boards and contribute to strategic planning.
- Support the publication strategy by collaborating with Scientific Communications on manuscripts,
- Represent Natera’s medical voice externally through public relations, industry panels, advisory boards,
Requirements
- oversight of a Senior Medical Director, will contribute to an evolving understanding of cancer biology
- disease (MRD) and ctDNA-based monitoring.
- M.D. required (board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology preferred)
- Residency training in Radiation Oncology
- experience in GU cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney, etc.) as a
- Deep knowledge of treatment paradigms, clinical guidelines, and diagnostic workflows in GU cancers
- experience in academic, biotech, or pharmaceutical settings
- Expertise in clinical trial design, regulatory/compliance frameworks, and biostatistics
- Strong understanding of evolving treatment landscapes in GU cancers (including targeted therapies,
- immunotherapy, and biomarker-driven approaches)
- Quick learner with the ability to critically assess Natera’s technology and competing platforms
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Experience with ctDNA, MRD, or liquid biopsy technologies
- Experience supporting product launches or diagnostic adoption in oncology Summary
