Responsibilities
- Manage Alcoa's Dust Risk Profile by analysing monitoring data, implementing mitigation strategies, coordinating resources and responding proactively to environmental risks and changing weather conditions.
- Oversee contractor productivity, compliance and quality through field inspections, audits and daily management systems, ensuring adherence to environmental, safety and operational standards.
- Manage budgets, purchase orders, contractor service requests and critical infrastructure readiness, including supporting sprinkler network performance and dust suppression programs.
- responsibilities include: Lead the safe mobilisation, coordination and performance management of contractors delivering dust suppression, pasture management and civil maintenance activities across Residue Operations.
Requirements
- Experience managing multiple priorities, schedules and competing operational demands.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing budgets, contractor scopes and work programs. Trade, maintenance, project management or related qualifications are desirable.
- Experience with dust management, tailings storage facilities, residue operations or environmental risk management will be highly regarded Additional information Interviews may progress prior to the closing date, although all applications will be considered.

- We are seeking a Contractor Coordinator - Dust & Pasture to join our Residue Operations team at Wagerup Refinery, where you will play a critical role in managing contractor activities, coordinating dust suppression programs, and supporting environmental compliance across the site.
- Reporting to the relevant Superintendent, this position provides single-point accountability for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of contractors while helping minimise dust risk, protect surrounding communities, and support Alcoa's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
- About the role As the Contractor Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate contractor workgroups delivering dust suppression, pasture management and civil maintenance activities.
