Requirements

What We Require: Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience: 0 Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.

This position is in the New River Valley Resource Pool.
Covering the NRV, Roanoke, Giles, Salem, Hillsville, Wytheville, Galax and Tazewell clinics.
Curiosity and education are important to Carilion Clinic and to the professions of PAs and NPs.
As such, PAs and NPs who have worked within Family and Community Medicine, for at least 1 year, will be scheduled to precept PA and NP students from our partnering programs.
Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine. Minimum
