Responsibilities
- Select and install proper tooling and equipment required to produce desired parts.
- Ensure accurate set-up following company practice and procedures.
- Troubleshoot material and machine problems.
- Detect and report defective material, improper equipment operations and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures.
- Works within Standard work, control plans, work instructions and quality specifications to operate equipment and get defined output.
Requirements
- REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to successfully complete internal skills testing. High School Graduate/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one year
- experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
- Basic reading, writing, and shop math skills are required including tolerances and angle measurements.
- Must be able to use calipers, go and no-go gauges, tape rulers, protractors, square, hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to obtain Lock Out Tag Out certification upon hire.
- Physical ability to perform key job duties: Must be able to stand for 10 hrs Must be able to lift 50 lbs (Some position may require lifting up to 75 lbs.)
