- experience Demonstrated knowledge of engineering disciplines Demonstrated high understanding of root cause analysis methods Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills Preferred
- Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience) Advanced degree is preferred Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Participates in design reviews for the purpose of component selection and standardization.
- Establishes and maintains a specification system for off-the-shelf parts.
- Generates specifications for all new component parts.
- Coordinates failure analysis and corrective activities on component parts Develops guidelines/procedures on vendor selection.
- Evaluates supplier change notification and qualifies changes, as needed Present at and participate in design reviews and walk-throughs Makes decisions that have significant impact on project costs and schedule.
