Staff Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

- Lead Technical Initiatives across teams, providing mentorship, driving code reviews, and elevating engineering best practices.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions at scale.
- Own APIs and Microservices design, building RESTful and event-driven services that power distributed systems.
- Drive Reliability by implementing observability, monitoring, and incident response frameworks.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Architect and Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems leveraging AWS cloud-native services.
- Develop and Deploy high-quality, production-grade Golang code that is efficient, secure, and maintainable.
- Deep expertise architecting large-scale systems on AWS, utilizing services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design patterns.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
experience guiding teams, mentoring engineers, and leading large-scale projects. - Strong focus on observability, reliability, and secure coding practices. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and agile methodologies.
