We’re looking for a visionary detection and response leader to architect and scale the future of cyber defense at Gong.You will define how a modern, automation-first, AI-enabled SOC operates across a global SaaS company, protecting production, cloud, SaaS, and corporate environments with speed, precision, and strong engineering rigor.
Detection engineering across SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud, and SaaS telemetry.
Designing durable coverage for the threats that matter most to Gong, including identity abuse, customer-data exfiltration, OAuth abuse, insider misuse, and emerging AI-era attack paths.
Improving Gong’s ability to detect, investigate, contain, and learn from threats across every environment.

The strategy, operating model, and execution of Detection & Response Engineering within Gong’s Cyber Defense group.
Incident response leadership across corporate, cloud, production, and SaaS environments.
SOAR and response automation, including enrichment, triage, containment, and investigation workflows.
Threat hunting and threat intelligence programs aligned with Gong’s threat model.
