Responsibilities
- Register employers with state and local payroll tax agencies and manage agency accounts, credentials, and ongoing maintenance.
- Process and maintain foreign qualifications, including filings, renewals, withdrawals, and vendor coordination.
- Review and route tax notices, respond to unemployment claims, and manage other compliance-related administrative requests.
- Coordinate additional client services, including California Statement of Information filings, agency payment research, and check processing.
- Maintain accurate documentation, update internal systems, and identify opportunities to improve operational processes through automation and scalable workflows. What We're Looking For
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams. 2–3 years of
- experience in payroll operations, payroll tax registrations, compliance, Secretary of State filings, or other regulatory or administrative operations is preferred. You May Be a Great Fit If

- New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
- Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $85,500 - $96,200 USD
- US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $77,000 - $86,600 USD
- Canadian employees (any location): CAD 80,800 - 90,900
