Responsibilities

Support the preparation, review, and filing of Figma's SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, the annual proxy statement, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reports
Support review of public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentations
Build and maintain processes using AI and other tools, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations, to help improve legal workflows and scale the legal function

experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department; you should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment, with the ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and recalibrate advice in response to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance
You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should have a strong self-awareness around what you know and what you don't know, and a sense of curiosity and desire to learn what you don't.

Provide legal support for transactional and general corporate matters, including financings, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives as they arise We'd love to hear from you if you have: 4+ years of legal

Provide support on equity matters, including 10b5-1 plans and Figma's trading policy
Partner with and provide practical legal advice to other critical stakeholders across accounting, equity, finance, people, and communications
If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual
For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
