Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers
- Anticipate, plan, and execute infrastructure projects aligned with company and customer needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams
- Support broader company initiatives as needed beyond the immediate team scope
- Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation
- Evaluate and implement emerging infrastructure tools and practices
- Support company initiatives around cost optimization, security, disaster recovery, and compliance
Requirements

- With the ability to easily enrich customer data and rapidly launch growth experiments, Airship enables brands to deliver consistent, meaningful interactions that accelerate conversion and foster deeper customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in English (required for collaboration with US-based leadership) •
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable) Nice to Have: Hands-on
- experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) •
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker)
- Background in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling
- Knowledge of security best practices, networking fundamentals, and incident management Work Location & Travel Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years in backend or infrastructure engineering roles
- 2+ years managing or mentoring engineers
