Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship high-quality features across the stack, using technologies like TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, C++, and more.
  • Own key parts of the product that impact user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, design, data science, support, and sales to shape product direction and solve complex problems.
  • Operate and monitor the systems you build, with a strong focus on reliability, security, performance, and user experience.

  • As part of these teams, you’ll design and scale reliable, secure, and intuitive systems that power collaboration across Figma’s product suite.
  • experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, PostgreSQL).
  • experience working effectively across functions. While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: •
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, billing/payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly.
  • A background in experimentation, observability, compliance automation, or internal tools development.
  • Prior work on extensibility platforms (plugins, APIs, widgets), or
  • experience contributing to open source developer communities.

Experience

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and maintaining complex systems or products in production. Full-stack

Benefits

  • If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
  • Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual
  • For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
  • Figma offers equity to employees, as well a competitive package of additional benefits, including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave & reproductive or family planning support, mental health & wellness benefits, generous PTO, company recharge days, a learning & development stipend, a work from home stipend, and cell phone reimbursement. Figma also offers sales incentive pay for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $153,000 — $376,000 USD
